Choosing a Lead-Certified Contractor

If you’re planning to renovate a pre-1978 home, including window or door replacement, it’s vital that you understand the hazards of lead paint. The Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule (RRP) from the United States Environmental Protection Agency requires that contractors be trained and certified to mitigate the hazards of lead paint.
